Online Private Lessons - 5 Lesson Bundle
Want to improve on YOUR Band instrument?
The SBA is providing dedicated band musicians of any age and level an opportunity to receive private instrument specific instruction. While not restricted, SBA lessons are designed to provide instrument expertise for those who may not have access to instrument experts locally or need lessons from the comfort of their home.
Interested? Sign up for a "starter" bundle of 5 30-minute lessons. The exact times and dates of the lessons will be arranged between the participant and the instructor.
Private Lessons provides:
- Top quality instruction from SBA Clinician Bureau members - experts on each instrument
- Targeted instruction designed EACH participant
- Most importantly - a chance to improve on your instrument!
NOTE: Youth under 18 years of age must be registered by a parent/guardian. Parent contact information is collected on the top portion of the registration form. All 5 lessons MUST be completed by December 31, 2025.
The program will be delivered entirely online. Participants must have at least 6 months of instruction in Band or on their instrument. Private Lessons are available for:
Juniors: musicians with 6 months - 2 years of experience on their instrument (eg grade 7/8)
Intermediate: musicians with 3 - 4 years of experience on their instrument (eg grade 9/10)
Advanced: musicians with over 4 years of experience on their instrument OR intermediate level with additional private lesson training.
Refund Policy:
Any cancellation and withdrawl of lessons will be subject to a $30 administration fee. Cancellation BEFORE lessons begin will result in a full refund, minus the $30 administration fee. Cancellation after lessons begin will result in a pro-rated refund, minus the lessons delivered and $30 administration fee. Sufficient notification of cancellation must be provided for instructor notification. If notice is given 2 days or less before the next scheduled lesson time, the scheduled lesson will be considered as delivered when calculating the pro-rated refund.
If a lesson must be missed due to illness or special circumstances, the student and teacher can make adjustments to the lesson schedule, in order that lessons are not missed. The student must give as much notice to the teacher as possible before the lesson time. If a student forgets to attend their lesson, there will be no adjustments to the lesson schedule.
